Ingredients

  • 0.75 tsp sea salt
  • 0.25 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 0.125 tsp paprika
  • 2.25 tsp garlic powder divided
  • 0.125 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp dried thyme
  • 0.25 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts halves
  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley.
  2. Sprinkle spice mixture generously on both sides of chicken breasts.
  3. Heat butter and olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat.
  4. Saute chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes on each side.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining 2 teaspoons garlic powder and lime juice.
  6. Cook 5 minutes, and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, stirring frequently to coat evenly with sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and serve with your favorite side dish.
